Intercultural Communication
Summary
CommunicationNthe ability to share your thoughts, ideas and feelingsNis the
basis of all human contact. Whether you live in a large city or a small town in the
United States, in a Kibbutz in Israel, a village in Thailand, the jungles of
Colombia, the mountains of Nepal, the deserts of the Sahara, an island such as
Fiji, or the plains of Kenya, everyone participates in the same activity when they
communicate. The results and the methods will vary from culture to culture, but
the process remains the same. Everyone on this planet, all 6 billion of us,
communicates daily with others so as to share our lives.
